Oasis hotels’ anti-Covid-19 protocols and measures

Since the emergence of the coronavirus disease (covid-19), safety and cleanliness measures have been implemented at Oasis’ all-inclusive hotels in Mexico to ensure the health of guests and employees. These new, rigorous procedures comply with the Cristal International Standards.

POSI CHECK (Prevention of the Spread of Intention Audit Protocol) for the prevention of Covid-19 has also recently been included. The processes include the cleaning of rooms, common areas, restaurants and bars…we will explain in detail what they consist of and how we carry them out. You can also find all the detailed information about cleaning protocols in Oasis hotels thanks to its website.

Anti Covid-19 protocols for check in and check out of the hotel

In order to ensure the check in, we offer the possibility to do it digitally, in addition, the reception areas have been enlarged to avoid crowds and to ensure the security space. Upon arrival at the hotel, all personnel are equipped with face masks and screens are installed to prevent direct contact. We also take the temperature of all our guests thanks to thermal cameras and the luggage is sanitized at the entrance. All the facilities will be equipped with hydroalcoholic gel dispensers for the correct sanitization of collaborators and guests. At check-out, we have also considered the possibility of express check-out.

Rooms at the time of Covid-19

All rooms have been thoroughly cleaned prior to each guest’s arrival with products registered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The new tenant is guaranteed that the room has been properly sanitized because a security seal, the doortag, is placed at the entrance, which the guest will break as soon as he/she enters. Access to the rooms will be through proximity locks, contactless and the amenities found in the rooms are of first and only use. It will also be verified that the printed media have been duly suppressed to avoid unnecessary contacts, giving priority to technology.

Products inside restaurants and bars

To avoid crowds, lack of space and minimum safety distance, seating capacity and tables in restaurants and bars have been reduced. Digital reservations have been encouraged through the Oasis application, thus reducing lines to access the premises and making it possible to browse the menu and menu. If large groups of more than five people are coming, a reservation must be made in advance because it is necessary to set the tables properly. Also, before and after each service, the furniture will be cleaned and sanitized to safeguard everyone’s safety.

Anti-Covid-19 measures in common areas

As in the restaurants and bars, several safety measures have been implemented in the areas common to all hotel staff and guests: all furnishings are cleaned regularly with products registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Hydroalcoholic dispensers have been made available to guests and collaborators in the various common areas. In entertainment centers and at activities, capacity is reduced to ensure a safe distance and avoid crowds. Graphic information on health safety protocols for covid-19 has also been posted.

Collaborators

All Oasis Hotel personnel undergo a medical examination before starting work, which includes an official test. People who have symptoms or who may have been with someone close to a suspect will be quarantined for 15 days. Every day the personnel follow a process of sanitization and temperature control, they have also been duly informed and tested so that they scrupulously follow the new safety measures and standards required. They are required to wear face masks and personal protective equipment. Resident physicians will be available 24 hours a day throughout the week for emergencies and covid19 testing of both employees and guests.
