What to do in Palenque, Chiapas

Palenque is undoubtedly of vital importance to the state of Chiapas. It has been a National Park since 1891 and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Before diving deeper into the archaeological ruins, we recommend refueling at the Agua Azul waterfalls or the Roberto Barrios waterfalls.
