This is how Oasis welcomed the New Year

   10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Happy New Year!

The New Year made a triumphant entry in Cancun, with the help of Oasis Hotels & Resorts, and the event held the past December 31^st.

Hundreds of people from different nationalities, got together to enjoy the night and welcome the year 2019 in the city of Cancun, accompanied by music, drinks and food in an event that began at 9:00 pm with opening acts such as environmental music performed by the Grand Oasis Cancún DJ, and parades, as well as comedy shows that involved dancers, sailors and funny nuns; who kept the audience amused and entertained until the fireworks lighted-up the sky, as a welcome for both, the New Year and the main act.

At 12:05 am on January 1^st, 2019, Trevor Dahl, Kevin Ford and Matthew Russell, better known as Cheat Codes, took the stage of The Oasis Beach Club to kick off the long-awaited concert, which ended around 2:00 am, leaving an enthusiastic crowd of hotel guests and locals, who decided to start the year with the right foot by attending the event held at Grand Oasis Cancun.

The repertoire of the night was built-up by original songs of the band, such as: Feels Good, Sex, Shed a Light, and No Promises; as well as remixes of popular songs that made the audience, composed mainly by young people and adults, sing and dance to the music.
