Grand oasis

This was my second trip to Grand oasis Cancun, The first one was in 2012 and there was a lot of changes since the first time we came. They have made many upgrades since I was here last, We did upgrade this time and had access to more restaurants and ocean front room which was nice. I do recommend the upgrade. We had reservations 4 out of the 7 night stay. There was other restaurants to go to without a reservation, maki taco you have to get there early if you want to eat there. Also for the restaurants that require a reservation you have to dress appropriate no beachwear closed toe shoes. The Benazuza experience was great, Careyes was great, Los lunas was great, Shakira I did not care for the food the entertainment was good.. We did book excursions to Chichén itza, Tulum, Las Mujures, and did the dolphin experience. If you shop at the flea market price other vendors some are significantly cheaper than other didn’t know until after I had bought my souvenirs. They have shows in the atrium many nights plan your reservations accordingly if you want to attend they are good shows, also get there early the shows start at 7.30 if you want a seat to enjoy the show get there at 6.30. They have several little coffee shops on the property that are quite nice they didn’t have these before. The buffet style restaurants was hit or miss sometimes they had certain things sometimes the didn’t but in my opinion was decent. There was a few things I could have complained about not really worth mentioning. The pool was great they had different types of entertainment lots of things to do. Over my experience was good I think the staff was great.

Varying costumer service at the party hotel

The resort is very big with a lot of restaurants. We arrived on Friday at the end of the US spring break, so the hotel was very busy and we had a hard time the first day with our room that wasn't ready and only had a king bed instead of the 2 double bed like I asked when I booked. After asking a few times, they put an extra single bed in the room in the evening to accommodate. On our second day we had a much better service. The concierge at our building (Frida Najera) was very nice and did everything she could to help us. As an extra bonus, she did all that in very good french (my mother tongue). Having only 3 nights at the hotel she was helpful to make the most of our trip. It's a party hôtel so I would not recommend for a family vacation even if there's a kid playground.

The perfect college resort!! Me and about 30 of my college friends came together. Although it’s a little confusing to navigate, every single staff member is amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good time! Special shout-out to Ruth, concierge in building 3 and Alexis from housekeeping. Lost my purse w ID and camera and they are bringing it back to me as I type. VIVA OASIS

Great Trip and KiddO Club

We stayed for 10 nights in Febrary 2023. Found that all staff were friendly and attentive. I would say the most attentive restaurant staff I've very experienced, we never found ourselves at the corner table with no one assigned! Our 7 year old daughter really enjoyed the KiddO Club. She liked to go for a couple hours each day to do crafts with Bere, Lili, Mirian, Ana, Nancy and Karlan. All of these ladies were so friendly and spoke excellent English. The special program on Valentine's Day was great! The kids club is quite spacious with shaded areas and air conditioned rooms with lots of activities, even a playroom for babies and toddlers. It is a great spot to get out of the sun for a little while for kids of any age.

Good value resort

Nice hotel. Good value for the money. I would not pay a premium for it though. Definitely a party hotel. There were many families though, I was traveling solo on this one. Would I bring my family and young children here? Probably not. Loud music. Smoking all types of things. Belligerent drinking. It’s like spring break. All year! The staff are nice. My concierges in my building were super nice. Thank you Karina Garcia, Ruth de Lao, Jonathan Rodriguez. Your friend from New York! The property is vast. Lots of swimming areas. No kids park. Lots of adult only sections. No jacuzzi. Food was ok. The Japanese. Not even sure what kind of sushi rolls they were. The buffet was meh. The one restaurant called cocoa is pretty good. Beach club!

Amazing services! Great jungle party at the Oh! Club beach party! Jorge was a great server and Pablo from entertainment was very informative and funny. So attentive to everything and very friendly people.

My Feb Vacation

Arrived today at Grand Oasis from Chicago. Checked In and went to cafeteria to grab a cup of coffee and was greeted by Sara and Carmen. Very warm welcome and they made me great coffee. Thank you ladies, will step by in the morning again for coffee.

Best club

Best barmaids in Mexico… best service you will ever have, they’re so kind, and amazing vibe. I recommend everyone to go there. You’ll have the best time in Mexico. They’re open 6 night a week. Don’t miss it. Great music and karaoke night………..

Coffee and you fase 2

La cafetería del turno de la tarde de coffee and you fase dos, con Eduardo y Carmen fue una experiencia muy agradable, una cálida atención, muy higiénico el lugar y el café está muy rico. Además, buscan que la experiencia sea única, fueron muy amables, nos atendieron súper rápido y son muy considerados, en general el mejor lugar donde puedes conseguir un excelente café.

Un lugar maravilloso, excelente atención del personal, instalaciones muy bonitas y la comida deliciosa.

Un excelente lugar para vacacionar. Todos los restaurantes muy buenos lo recomendamos mucho. Las mejores vacaciones que hemos pasado. Nos atendió en Sarape restaurante mexicano Ricardo Ensaldo gerente muy amable y servicial. En general los meseros son muy buenos me gustó la atención y comida. Totalmente recomendado. El mejor restaurante de gran oasis Cancún.

Hotel y restaurant

El hotel muy bueno y las habitaciones grandes y cómodas. Los restaurants muy variados y completos. En especial uno llamado Coyote Bites donde la comida a la carta fue la mejor de las que probé. La comida, el vino y en especial la atención recibida por los meseros fue de lujo. Quiero destacar la atención de Ricardo en este restaurant ya que fue amable y predispuesto en todo momento, sin dudas todos los detalles hicieron que mi experiencia fuera excelente!

five stars for customer service

iran heredia is the best customer service man ever. we called him on the phone to book our trip for march 2024 and he was super helpful. he helped us figure out all of the questions that we had and he was very friendly and nice to talk to. thank you!

Wonderful time again!

We just finished our third trip to the Grand Oasis. Each time has been very enjoyable. The staff, grounds, beach, entertainment, rooms, etc are all very well maintained. Plenty of options for food and drink. We would recommend the Grand Oasis to anyone traveling to Cancun.
