Tecate, the varieties of the best beer

If you like beers and know practically all the varieties that exist, their characteristic flavor, body and taste… it is not surprising that you are an absolute fan of the Tecate brand, with its characteristic eagle that has been part of the logo for 70 years. Prepare your own totopos while you drink a good Tecate beer to give yourself the homage you deserve.

Tecate Beer

The Tecate brand is one of the varieties of the Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma brewery in Mexico, originally from Baja California, created in 1944. The Moctezuma brewery was founded in 1890, which makes it one of the most traditional breweries in the country and the United States.

In addition to the flavors of the more than 20 products of its 13 different brands, it is considered one of the most original in the Mexican beer industry for milestones such as, for example, launching Tecate in cans and becoming the first in the country to be sold in this format, or being the first brand to have its own light beer variant.

Currently, in addition to the original 1944 red Tecate, there are three more types: light, titanium and amber, all of them special but very characteristic in their own right. Get to know them all while you enjoy a typical Mexican dish, such as cochinita pinil, a classic!

Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery

It is one of the most important breweries in the country, including the great popularity and sales it generates also in the neighboring USA. It has 6 production plants and the largest international presence. It has been an official sponsor of Real Madrid in Mexico since 2015.

Tecate original

Created in 1944, this red and silver canned pilsen beer has a special flavor that makes it one of the most important beers in the Mexican market.

Tecate Light

The tecate light still has the original logo and a striking big t, harmoniously combining the blue and silver colors. This golden ale still has the same flavors as the original, and only 110 calories. It is of the Pilsen type, with 5.5% alcohol. You will be able to enjoy the taste of barley without remorse. Who is not going to like it.

Tecate amber

This variant created in 2013, unlike the others, is designed with yellow and silver colors, without forgetting its characteristic eagle to help us recognize it. It is light and smooth, but with a strong touch reminiscent of dark beers; it is undoubtedly a perfect balance between both typologies that will make you fall in love with it.

Tecate Titanium

The most powerful, the most original, extraordinary is not enough. It perfectly combines silver, red and black colors reminiscent of malt beers.
