Route of the cenotes

Located in the most recently created municipality in the state: Puerto Morelos, the route of the cenotes is a free road that leads from the beautiful and relaxed town of the same name, to the white city, the beautiful Merida Yucatan.

The zip lines are undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the route.

Passing through different towns of Quintana Roo on the way, with the jungle surrounding it and forming a green wall that dazzles with its magic, colors and life, this road is full of fun and activities in every corner. In its many kilometers of route, the route of the cenotes has dozens of parks of different sizes, which offer Eco tourism of great quality to the tourists who visit us. Zip lines, ATV rides, jungle tours and of course the magnificent cenotes are the main attractions of a place that is growing in popularity rapidly, as different parks appear or improve their services attracting thousands of visitors daily who enjoy this type of adventures and this type of activities.

It is believed that in the Yucatan Peninsula there are more than 2000 cenotes, these magnificent formations of water and stone are in themselves attraction enough to travel to this route. Enjoying the most crystalline waters you have ever seen, filtered by limestone through thousands of years, is simply spectacular. But the parks along the cenotes route offer much more than that. For example, the  Selvatica or Xenotes parks, award-winning adventure parks that offer, among other things, jungle rides, zip lines, and many more fun activities for entire families or adventurers who want to get to know Cancun beyond its beaches and exotic party nights.

There are other parks of smaller dimensions or that offer different activities, but undoubtedly none of the parks of this wonderful route of the cenotes will leave you indifferent. Just feeling away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone will be a great change for your day on this wonderful road, keep the spirit of adventure and do not forget the suntan lotion (biodegradable please) or mosquito repellent, after all you are doing Eco adventure and contact with nature is always more pleasant than annoying, in the end an adventure and a glimpse of a world totally different from ours await you, and any interaction with insects will be left over when you have marveled at the sight of a cave with a cenote.
