Festival ElectrOasis Latin Beach Festival

The festival will be held every Saturday from June 24 through July 22 for guests and the general public.

Juan Magan – Saturday June 24th

This festival kicks off with Spanish artist Juan Magan, one of the most internationally acclaimed singers, remixers, DJ’s and producers in the Electro Latin music industry and a pioneer of this genre. Magan has collaborated with international artists such as Shakira, Nelly Furtado and Pitbull, as well as Enrique Iglesias in a song that also features Yandel, another ElectroOasis artist.

De La Ghetto – Saturday July 1st

 

Born in Manhattan and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Rafael Castillo, better known by his stage name De La Ghetto began his musical career in 2004 as part of a duo with Arcangel, an artist also born in New York City. This duo rose to fame with their 2005 hit song Come  and Pay. Already in 2007 De La Ghetto embarked on his solo career and has participated in iconic regaetton songs such as El Boom y The Cowboy Reunion where he also participates with two artists performing at ElectrOasis: Yandel and Tego Calderón.

Yandel – Saturday, July 8th

Puerto Rican artist and producer Yandel will take the stage at the Beach Club on July 8. Yandel, began his career in 1998 with a school friend forming the duo Wisin & Yandel. They subsequently won a Grammy for Best Latin Urban Album in 2009 and two Latin Grammy Awards for Best Urban Album and Best Urban Song. Wisin & Yandel were also judges on The Voice Mexico in 2013. As a solo artist, Yandel has won two Latin Grammy Awards in 2016 for Best Urban Song and Best Performance/Fusion for his song “El Canción Urbana” (Best Urban Song).  Charming.

Tony Dize – Sábado 15 de Julio

Tony Dize is an American reggaeton singer of Puerto Rican descent. Dize began his career under the guidance of Wisin & Yandel and was featured on their 2003 album Blin Blin Vol. 1, with topics such as Don’t waste time. In 2008 Dize released his first solo album Melodia de la Calle reaching the number 8 position in the list. Billboard Top 10 Latin Albums..

Tego Calderon – Saturday, July 22

Puerto Rican rapper Tego Calderón will close this year’s ElectrOasis festival on Saturday, July 22. Calderón made his first album The Abayarde in 2002, even though at the time reggaeton  was considered an underground genre. The album sold 50,000 copies upon its release, setting a record for a reggaeton album. In the summer of 2005, Calderon signed a contract with Atlantic Records and its independent record label Jiggiri Records, making him the first reggaeton artist to be signed to such a major label. As one of the pioneers of the genre, Calderón has successfully transcended into American pop culture in the youth culture of Puerto Rico and other Latin American neighborhoods. The rapper has also participated in three of the Fast and Furious movies.
