The natural attraction of La Bufadora is just 35 kilometers from Ensenada. One of its greatest attractions is that it’s the second largest geyser in the world, located in Mexico. The La Bufadora phenomenon is caused by the union of seawater rushing into a cave in the Pacific Ocean reef and the accumulation of air within. Thanks to the trapped air in the cave, the water rushes out at greater speed, creating jets of water that can reach many meters in height.
