Ensenada BC
Ensenada is one of those destinations that embodies everything a vacation can offer. It has a tropical climate perfect for swimming or surfing on the beach. It’s also known for having one of the most highly regarded cuisines in the world, as well as being the wine capital of Mexico.
If you’re also one of those who enjoys getting lost in nature, taking walks, observing the diverse flora and fauna, or enjoying outdoor activities, you’ve found your next vacation destination.
Bufadora ensenada
The natural attraction of La Bufadora is just 35 kilometers from Ensenada. One of its greatest attractions is that it’s the second largest geyser in the world, located in Mexico. Thanks to its privileged location, you’ll be able to observe the Pacific Ocean coast while enjoying one of the most incredible panoramic views in the region.
The La Bufadora phenomenon is caused by the union of seawater rushing into a cave in the Pacific Ocean reef and the accumulation of air within. Thanks to the trapped air in the cave, the water rushes out at greater speed, creating jets of water that can reach many meters in height.
In the surrounding area, you’ll find shops selling handicrafts, perfect for taking home as souvenirs, as well as restaurants serving traditional regional cuisine. You can also book various tours or activities, such as kayaking.
Ensenada Beach
In addition to being one of the birthplaces of wine in Mexico, Ensenada is also known for being one of the best places to surf. This is because many of its beaches have the perfect waves to attract surfers.
The rocky beach of San Miguel is popular with surfers, who spend hours practicing different moves in the water. You can also find beaches for a relaxing day, such as Estéreo Beach or La Joya Beach, both with normal waves, fine sand, and ideal for diving.
Ensenada Malecon
One of the activities you can do on your days off in Ensenada is to explore the spectacular Malecón. It’s ideal for activities, both during the day and at night. There are many food stalls where you can try delicious dishes featuring fish and/or seafood.
Mornings are perfect for admiring the beautiful sunrise, booking boat trips, visiting the beautiful beach, and more. If you’re more of a night owl, it’s a good idea to admire the sunset at a beachfront restaurant, admire the views, or go dancing at a nearby club.
