Azcapotzalco District

Continue your route through Alameda Norte Park, one of Azcapotzalco’s largest green spaces. If you’re a sports fan, even on vacation, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as cycling, walking, or spending quality time with your travel companions.

Continuing through the park’s green spaces, you’ll find the Hidalgo Garden. This, in addition to being a verdant area in Azcapotzalco, is of great historical and cultural importance. As you stroll through it, you’ll find sculptures honoring Miguel Hidalgo or an iron kiosk perfect for photography.

If you’re looking for something cultural, then you’ll have to head to the Azcapotzalco Cultural Theater. Various plays, musical performances, and dance performances are held there. This place is beloved by the locals because, in addition to contributing to cultural development, it is a historical building of great importance.

Regarding religious buildings, you can see several chapels spread throughout the different neighborhoods of this area. Among them is the Chapel of the Rosary.

Finally, we will tell you about the Cathedral and Convent of the Holy Apostles Philip and James. Despite its simple architecture, it is one of the most visited and one of the oldest in Azcapotzalco, dating back to the 16th century.
