Parque El Cedral

This stupendous park known by all as El Cedral is located in the state of Hidalgo, to be more exact, it is part of El Chico National Park. Admission to the public costs approximately 20 Mexican pesos, a modest price that will certainly not cost you anything to pay for all that you will see there.

It is considered one of the oldest natural parks in the country. Visiting hours are from 8:00 in the morning until 21:00 at night. Many people decide to spend the night in this magical place to make the most of their experience.

That is why if you like nature and are not afraid of night noises, we recommend you to spend the night in their camp or in one of their cabins. To camp there is a fee of 30 Mexican pesos per tent, or if you prefer, you can rent a cabin for 500 pesos.

El Cedral Recreational Park

There are many ways to have a great time at El Cedral Recreational Park. For example, those who like to practice risky activities will find a great zip line to descend over the dam surrounded by the best scenery.

There are also multiple trails for hiking, all of them classified from higher to lower difficulty. Dare to take a remote route, and get to know the different aspects of nature. Finally, animal lovers will be able to ride horses in a wonderful experience in the middle of nature.

If after the different walks in the middle of the forest on foot, the rides on horseback or the zipline descent you still want more, you should know that near the dam itself there are boats available for a ride around the dam.

El Cedral Ecotourism Park
