The caves of Rancho Nuevo
Discovered in 1947 by Vicente Kramsky and Edmundo Schlié, these formations are located 10 kilometers from the city of San Cristobal de las Casas. It is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The caves have a distance of more than 10 kilometers and a depth of more than 500 meters. You will be able to see the stalactite and stalagmite formations, take pictures and much more as you walk along the illuminated walkway inside.
