That is why we encourage you to get to know the territory during the celebration of the event, the last weekend of September.

We recommend you visit the wide staircase, where the first Atlixcayotl was held in 1965. During the year of the pandemic, a work of art was painted on the steps. To see more pictorial creations, you can go to the Municipal Palace, inside which there are several murals done by artists from Atlixquense.

You can also contemplate the Conjunto Conventual de Santa María de Jesús, the oldest building in the magical town of Atlixco built during the 16th century.

For those who love nature, two essential plans are to visit the Magic Garden, located on Libramiento Atlixco Izúcar de Matamores, or to visit the plants that are part of the John Naka Bonsai Art Museum, located on Bulevar Niños Héroes.
