Trips to Mazatlán

Pack your bags for your next adventure in Mazatlán, a coastal city brimming with attractions. One of the first places you’ll want to visit is its extensive boardwalk. At over 20 kilometers long, it’s considered one of the longest in the world.

Along the way, you’ll come across the famous lighthouse, hotels, cliffs, various buildings, and much more. One of the most interesting spots along this route is Mazatlán Central Park.

Mazatlán Lighthouse

Head to the port of Mazatlán, one of the oldest ports on the Pacific coast, to find its famous lighthouse. Today, it’s one of the city’s most important icons, as well as a valuable landmark in Sinaloa.

Fuel up for your big day at the Mazatlán lighthouse, as the climb to the top involves more than 300 steps and 740 meters of trails. It’s recommended to bring water, wear loose clothing, comfortable shoes, and protect yourself with a hat to avoid heat exhaustion.

Upon arrival, you’ll find a glass structure, a somewhat overwhelming experience if you’re afraid of heights. The view from there is unparalleled, perfect for taking beautiful photographs. If you want the best panoramic views, we recommend going up before sunrise or sunset.

Visiting hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. The exact location is Calzada Joel Montes Camarena s/n, Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. You can also contribute to the cleanup brigades near the lighthouse. Whether you’re a tourist or not, this recycling effort is vital to maintaining the area’s ecosystem.

Isla de Piedras Beach is a beach where you can enjoy a variety of activities. It’s perfect for sports enthusiasts, as you can enjoy various water sports, such as kayaking and catamaran sailing. If you’re lucky, you might even see sea lions.

Another notable beach is Sábalo. Its shoreline is ideal for endless playtime for young children, as its sand is fine and level. It’s perfect for spending a whole day with the family and dining in delicious restaurants serving local seafood.

We conclude this brief list with Camarón Beach. Although a bit far from Mazatlán, it is comfortable and spacious for relaxing in the sun, swimming in its crystal-clear waters, and participating in a variety of water activities.
