Mérida

Izamal

To visit this site, you must go to the state of Yucatan, specifically south of the city of Merida. Within the precinct you have great points of interest, as well as two different ways of getting to know the archaeological site (one more complete than the other).

What buildings will you see inside? First of all, the Pyramid of the Soothsayer, the largest monument composed of different structures, each of which houses a temple. You can’t miss the Quadrangle of Nuns, a large building with a staircase that resembles a convent.

Considered by many to be the most popular beach in the area, Puerto Progreso beach does not disappoint those who visit it. A 30-minute drive from the capital is the perfect disconnection: beach, restaurants, water activities and lots of fun for everyone.

If after going to the beach of Puerto Progreso you still want to swim in more coasts, we recommend a few more beaches so that you end up with a good taste in your mouth.

Very close to Puerto Progreso you have Chixulub beach, perfect to go with family and small children. Another of the closest beaches is Chelem, famous for its sunsets: if you like pictures and social networks, you have to take a report during your visit.
