Jazz and Latin rhythms at Oasis Jazz U 2015
The fourth edition of the Oasis Jazz Festival is upon us with an unbeatable line-up that offers you a fusion of Latin jazz, funk, flamenco and tropical music from artists such as Diego ‘El Cigala’, Eddie Palmieri, and Hector Infanzon.

The festival begins today in the Oh! By Oasis hotel in downtown Cancun. A hotel that has offered its guests world class shows since its inauguration last year. It’s entertainment spot CHC Le Club will have the honour of opening the festival with renowned Mexican bassist and songwriter Hiram Gomez and his jazz band; a night that will no doubt remain in the memories of those in attendance.
Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd
Then, on Thursday 21 May, Spanish guitarist Juan D’Anyelica takes to the CHC Le Club stage bringing his captivating flamenco jazz. On Friday things move to the Oasis Arena at Oasis Cancun hotel where we are presented with a double header. First, Latin jazz fusion band Na’rimbo followed by Grammy award-winning New Yorker Eddie Palmieri and his salsa sounds. A winning combination that will definitely have you moving your dancing feet.
Ending the festivities with a bang…
To close this magnificent festival, the Oasis Arena welcomes Spanish singer Diego ‘El Cigala’ who will be accompanied by Mexican jazz great Hector Infanzon. Diego ‘El Cigala’ will be showcasing songs from his latest record Romance de la Luna Tucumana on which promises to be a night full of passion and emotion.
Tickets can be purchased at the Oasis Smart hotel in downtown Cancun, Oasis Cancun, Oasis Sens, and Oasis Palm hotels, and at all Café Nader coffee shops in the city.
