If you want to get to Chiquilá from Cancun or Playa del Carmen, it is easy if you go by private car or rental car. Then you have to take a ferry that leaves every hour and takes 25 minutes to get there or if you prefer you can take an air cab, which takes 20 minutes. Car parking is available in Chiquilá.

The estimated travel time from Cancun is 2 hours more or less on the toll road and from Playa del Carmen 2 and a half hours also on the toll road.
