Jazz and Latin rhythms at Oasis Jazz U 2015

The fourth edition of the Oasis Jazz Festival is here and this time the cast that graces the nights of this magnificent event is unbeatable, a fusion of Latin jazz, funk, flamenco and tropical music is set to delight the audience with performances by artists such as Diego “El Cigala”, Eddie Palmieri or Héctor Infanzón.

The festival kicks off today at the hotel’s facilities. Oh! By Oasis, since its inception, the hotel has offered Cancunenses world-class entertainment in its modern facilities and has given a different face to the city center with events such as the opening of the Travel Mart 2014. On this occasion CHC Le Club, one of the hotel’s entertainment centers, has the honor of kicking off the festival with the presentation of the renowned Mexican composer and bassist Hiram Gomez, in a night that will undoubtedly remain in the memory of all attendees.

Then, on Thursday  May 21, guitarist, it’s the guitarist’s turn  madrileño Juan D’Anyélica, who
will also be presented at CHC Le Club and then give way to the festival’s main attractions.
during the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd, where the following will be presented artists such as the fusion group  Na’rimbo and the  neoyorkino Eddie Palmieri, 2007 winner for best jazz   album at the Grammy Awards, who will also present a fusion of sounds that includes rhythms such as salsa, all this already in the facilities of the Oasis Arena, at the Oasis Cancun hotel, on Friday 22nd.

To close

Finally on Saturday 23rd, to close this magnificent event will be presented at the same Oasis Arena. Spanish flamenco singer Ramón Jiménez Salazar, better known as Diego ‘El Cigala’, who diego-el-cigala-concert-studio-2012will be accompanied in the evening by  the renowned Mexican jazzman Héctor Infanzón in a night that promises to be spectacular and full of feeling, Diego el Cigala will present his latest album “Romance de la luna tucumana”.
