Security in Mexico
When traveling, it is always advisable to know where you will be staying and what you can find there. If you are thinking of booking a vacation in certain areas of the Mexican geography, we give you some guidelines so you don’t have to worry about anything.
Security in Monterrey
There are many tourist attractions to be seen in Monterrey. There are many museums that will allow you to learn about the ancient and contemporary history of the city, such as the Museo del Palacio del Gobierno or the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO).
If you are concerned about the security of the territory, you should know that it is the third most important city economically speaking and also the third in terms of size. If you have to move around the city, it is advisable to take cabs in official places or even rent your own vehicle, to the detriment of public transport, the main place where pickpockets operate.
Security in Guadalajara
After Mexico City and before Monterrey, Guadalajara is the second most populated city. In the center of the city is the Hospicio Cabañas Museum, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a little further on you can see the famous cathedral, one of the tourist attractions par excellence.
There are many tours, activities and monuments to see in Guadalajara, so safety should be the least of your problems. As in other major cities around the world, you just need to keep your eyes open and not be careless at the first sign of change.
It is recommended to take tours with many people and with guides that help us to know which areas to avoid when we go sightseeing on our own, as well as to keep our purchases or belongings in crowded places.
Security in Mexico DF
The most important city in Mexico, an essential place to visit at least once in a lifetime. There is everything and everywhere: you can visit magical towns in the surrounding area, see archaeological ruins and an endless number of experiences that you will never forget.
As in other large cities, going alone is not a good idea, especially at night. It is also unwise to go with all your belongings in sight, whether it is a camera, cell phone, jewelry, among others. It will always be better to take guided tours than to go on your own, either by public transportation or walking through streets that are not very busy.
Safety Acapulco
Very close to the coast, Acapulco is one of the most visited cities by tourists who want sun, beach and lots of fun, so petty theft is also more frequent due to the greater influx of people.
It is not recommended to travel by bus, as many of the robberies occur on this means of transportation. It is also true that pickpockets in this territory are a little more frequent than in other areas, so you should take extreme precautions.
